Fondation Émergence has produced an information guide on the integration of trans people in the workplace. It was developed in partnership with Aide aux Trans du Québec (ATQ) and aims to provide employers with the tools necessary to ensure a workplace free of transphobia.
This guide addresses trans realities and the inclusion of trans people in the workplace, the benefits of having a workplace inclusive of sexual diversity for the employer, as well as their legal responsibilities regarding their integration. In addition, there is a list of important dates that mark the achievements of trans people in recent years. Finally, a detailed integration process may prove to be a practical tool that will support the employer in his approach to supporting the integration of trans people in his company.
